The ASi 10 accepts an AES/EBU signal from the studio and splits it into the digital and analog paths. The signal is then sent to separate processors before being returned to the ASi 10 where the timing of the analog and digital are synchronized and the digital signal encoded. Then the two signals are combined and the phase and amplitude information is sent directly to a BE solid state AM transmitter. All controls on the ASi 10 are available via the full color VGA touch screen monitor on the front of the unit. This allows full time monitoring and easy access to all operating parameters.
